Admiralty Lookout Dover Castle (Historic Document)

We take a look into the history of the site of Admiralty Lookout.


Started life as a 1874 gun battery (Hospital Battery) and was converted into Fire Command Post in 1905 and in 1914 was converted into the Port War Signal Station.

1880 Channel Tunnel Test Bore (Historic Document)
